Yukawa received a letter (OU1937-C2) and research paper (OU1937-C3) form the Editor of Physical Review, the journal published by the American Physical Society. The letter was a reply to the paper submitted by Yukawa, Shoichi Sakata and Mitsuo Taketani. It was addressed to Yukawa’s residence in Kurakuen, Nishinomiya City. Yukawa had sent the paper from Osaka Imperial University. It is not known why the reply was sent to his residence. Also, see the explanations in OU1937-C2 and OU1937-C3. (Written by Yutaka Hosotani)
