Envelope: Internal Pair Prod. 1935

This envelope contained manuscripts and other materials describing particle pair production in 1935. On the front side of the envelope, Yukawa wrote “Internal Pair Prod. 1935” beautifully with a brush and ink. His handwriting emanates the aesthetic aura of modern calligraphy. This brown envelope was sent to Yukawa at the following address: “Professor Hideki Yukawa, the Department of Physics, School of Science, Osaka Imperial University, Osaka.” In those years, mail with the address, “Osaka Imperial University, Osaka,” reached the destination correctly without any problem.
